Data Deletion
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Draft: to be reviewed by a qualified professional. Not legal advice.
You can delete the data autosub holds about you at any time. Here is how, and what happens when you do.
If you joined the waitlist
- Open the confirmation email we sent you and choose Remove this address from the waitlist, then confirm on the page that opens. Your address is deleted at once.
- Or write to privacy@autosub.im from that address, and we'll delete it.
If you have an autosub account
- In autosub: sign in and open Settings → Delete my data. You confirm by typing your email address, and you must have signed in within the last 24 hours. Your data is deleted at once, you are signed out, and we email you a confirmation.
- By email: write to privacy@autosub.im from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my data”. We may ask you to confirm the request, then delete your data within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What we delete
- your account, profile and settings;
- your campaigns, approvals and posting times, and the log of the changes you made to them;
- your connected TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts, with their access tokens;
- your Whop tokens and the signed-in Whop session kept on our server;
- your posts, submissions, screenshots and alert history;
- your WhatsApp number and Pushover key.
What stays for a while, or elsewhere
- Database backups normally roll over within 14 days, so deleted data disappears from them by then. The three newest backups are always kept, so if backups stop for a while, it can take longer.
- Server logs are kept until they reach a set size, when the oldest file is removed. With little traffic that can take months. Error reports expire within 90 days.
- We keep a record that a deletion took place: its date and how many rows were removed. It holds nothing that identifies you.
- Deleting your autosub data doesn't withdraw submissions already made to Content Rewards, and doesn't delete anything held by Whop, Content Rewards, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. Their own settings and policies apply to that data.
Removing only part of your data
- One social account: disconnect it in autosub. autosub then deletes its tokens for that account. You can also remove autosub from the apps connected to that account in the platform's own settings (for Instagram, in your account's settings for apps and websites). That withdraws autosub's permission on the platform's side; disconnect the account in autosub as well, so that autosub deletes the tokens it holds.
- WhatsApp alerts: send STOP to autosub's WhatsApp number, or disconnect WhatsApp in autosub's alert settings. We stop messaging you and delete your number.
- Anything else: write to privacy@autosub.im and tell us what you'd like deleted.
Your rights
Deletion is one of your rights under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019. Our Privacy Policy lists all of them and how to complain if you are unhappy with our answer.
